This is very good advice, both for high school students and for university students.
I would like to add that the importance of taking notes should not be underestimated. It is useful both in class and for self-study. I like the Cornell Method because it helps me establish associations and makes it easier to memorize material. Without notes, I probably wouldn’t remember half of what I know.
